I asked the admin to deactivate my account because I no longer wish to be a member of zonebbs. He said they don't do that and I should just change my profile to let people know they shouldn't try to communicate with me through this site. I did that, but there will be people who will leave me PM's anyway. I don't understand why people who specifically ask to be deleted and perhaps others who simply do not log in for a certain number of months can't have their accounts deactivated.
well just ignore the PM's. it's their problem.
I know some sites let you delete your own account, but I do not know what kinds of HTML and whatnot are involved in that.
I don't mean to sound rude, but if you wish to be deactivated why are you logging on to the site? Sorry just wondering is all.
I'm of a likewise inclination with Silly Singer. After all, if you truly do not desire to be a member of the site, why bother logging on? *holds up the "I'm bored and I need something to do" sign*

We don't delete accounts. Really no reason to. Much of it is logistical, like what it would do to your posts on the boards without an account to link them to.

Oh michelle, Haven't we seen Hthomas post her own board to this effect, and still keep logging in? it's just a way of gaining more attention for some.
